10 Bolt Differential Fun

(see previous post)Soooo then. I did buy a 3/8" breaker - and I did break the fill plug on the rear differential of our astro van. I managed to strip out a square hole. Kudos to me.
Anyways, I ended up buying a trans pan drain plug kit like this. "Why?", you ask, "didn't you just buy a differential cover with a fill hole in it?" Because the only ones they make for a 7 5/8" 10 bolt are $150. Believe me. I checked.

Estimated the fill level location and drilled a hole in that shiny new chrome differential cover. Put it together, added a little RTV for good measure and tightened everything down. Worked like a charm.
